The Veritas Press curriculum on history is very, very good. It is engaging, fun, interesting, and has many different ways it engages the student. Very good learning process.

I love this curriculum. I am using it to catch my daughter up in history that she has not had previously, so she is older than what is recommended. However, it has worked out well for her to do indpedently, which she loves!

I really like Veritas for our history because of the focus put on christian/church history within the study of history. It has fit very well with our family and we have enjoyed learning together. There are plenty of suggested reading materials about each subject presented - most of which we have found at our local library. The enhanced CD has been great - all I have to do is print off the pages that we will be using - either supplemental reading or activities that fit with the subject. This can be used with a variety of ages at the same time which is nice for our family as we like to do as much as possible together. On a side note, I have recently been introduced to Mystery of History by a friend and though I have not used it, it seems to me that it would also be a good choice for History.
