UNO is an easy game to play, but a challenging game to win. At the start of the game, each player is dealt 7 cards. The top card of the draw pile is turned over to start the discard pile, and the game begins. The first player can either discard a card that matches the number or the color in the discard pile. If the player doesn't have a matching card, or a Wild, he or she has to draw a card.
It may sound simple at first, but as the game goes on, players will use Wild cards to change the color of cards to play, Skip cards to skip the next player, Reverse cards to change the order of play, or Draw 2 cards to force the next player to draw cards. The game keeps going until a player can discard all of his or her cards. Careful, when you get down to your last card you have to shout, "UNO!" If another player catches you not saying, "UNO," you will have to draw four more cards.
