The title track, The Chop Chop, is a hip hop banger that challenges believers to grow and develop by gathering with other believers and “chopping up” the scriptures to integrate biblical nutrition into our system. Dramatic horns sound The Ambassador’s bleeding heart in Anybody Hear Me? – a sobering track that exposes the problems of a culture no longer drawn to the rapper’s words and message, but rather the seductiveness of his swagger. In the infectious Gimme Dat, The Ambassador cries out for the fulfillment of redeemed passions – an overdose of satisfaction found in Christ, who provides all things for his people to enjoy.
