We were tricked
My children were excited about the opportunity to grow a venus fly trap. Yet, after taking care of it for seven months, we have found out we were not given venus fly trap seeds. It was identified as another plant altogether..a very common plain ordinary green-leafed plant. We lovingly purchased bigger containers and cared for it daily to find out we were given a common, unexciting plant to nurture. Very dissappointing. Yet, my children learned a valuable lesson in tricky marketing.
