When innocent and naïve college freshman Josh Wheaton enters his first day of Philosophy class, he never dreams he is about to sign up for the fight of his life.

Commanded by the atheistic and argumentative Professor Radisson to disavow in writing the existence of God, Josh tentatively refuses. In return, he receives an overwhelming assignment: prove God’s existence through intellectual arguments and evidence over the course of the semester, and as a grand finale, engage Radisson in a head-to-head debate in front of the class. If Josh can convince his classmates of the existence of God, he will pass the course. If not, he will receive a failing grace and will severely hinder his ambitious academic goals.
