Some of the curriculum was consumable, but I did not use it that way. I just did most of it orally or we wrote answers on notebook paper. I liked the flexibility of the curriculum in that you do not need to use all the reference materials noted, but only the ones we wanted to use. It was right up my 7 year olds style. I did not like that one of the books noted was from an evolutionary viewpoint.

I purchased this curriculum because my son, who at the time was in 2nd grade, is a visual learner. I thought the video format would engage him in the material. It did. However, I realized after awhile that instead of watching the video, he was zoning out. I think that the content was above his comprehension (or interest) level. Personally, I liked the program a lot, however I think it may be better suited for older students.
