After trying multiple other phonics programs, this is the one that really worked well with my hearing/speech challenged son. In fact, it worked so well that he soon out-spelled his much older brother who learned to read with 100 Easy Lessons. Saxon Phonics is thorough and alleviates the need for separate handwriting and spelling curriculae. We've used it for all the subsequent children with great success as well.
