"The Spirit of Christmas" CD is a compilation of Dennis's beautiful and talented arrangements of traditional Christmas favorites including one original song. Dennis is considered by some to be one of the top saxophone players in the world. Four songs on the CD are sax instrumentals: "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear", "Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem", "Silent Night and Go Tell It On The Mountain". "What Child Is This" is primarily a flute instrumental. "Angels We Have Heard on High" is an outstanding multi-instrument arrangement including flute and vocals. "The First Noel" is performed on the guitar. The Schubert and Bach/Gounod versions of "Ave Maria" are vocals. The one original song on the CD is entitled "What God Did For Us" and is an instrumental performed on the flute. This inspirational CD is great for a relaxing, uplifting listening experience for the holidays.
