The Grammar Ace: Instructor's Manual

Grammar Ace is a 36 week grammar curriculumm which is used in conjunction with the "School House Rock" dvd series. During the 36 week time period the instructor and student will cover the followig concepts: Nouns, verbs, sentences, adjectives, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, direct objects, number, person, verb tense, voice, synoyms and antonyms, predicate nouns and adjectives, prepositions, indirect objects, appositives, phrases, clauses, types of sentences, paragraphs, expository paragraphs, persuasive paragraphs, descriptive paragraphs, narrative paragraphs, prefixes and suffixes, commas, analogies, quotations, compounds, contractions, more nouns, restrictive and non restrictive clauses and phrases, more pronouns, more verbs, gerunds, participles and infinitives.

In each lesson segment in the instructor's manual is divided into the following sections: Teaching instruction, in a nutshell, application, notes and answer key. The student workbook has activities which parallel the lessons being taught in the instructor's manual. Overall this curriculum is an excellent introduction to basic grammar.
