Description of Triumph by Sharon Maree
Born and raised in California, Sharon MaRee began singing gospel music at the tender age of 9. With a singing preaching father and a devoted praying mother, Sharon's roots in the church and gospel music were embedded early. Today, she currently serves as assistant choir director for the Music Worship Ministry of the Apostolic Faith Home Assembly Church in Los Angeles, California. On her debut release, Triumph, Sharon follows a lineage of singers, from her older sister, gospel-recording artist Elaine Norwood, to her "Auntie" in the industry Dorothy Norwood.
Sharon MaRee teamed up with mega producer, Jason White (Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary, Daryl Coley, Kurt Carr, Richard Smallwood, Judith McAllister, Carlton Pearson) and other top gospel industry producers to capture her unique, soulful sound. The entire concept of Triumph is to have you ascend to higher heights of praise and worship. Triumph is filled with songs that express gratitude towards Him! No matter what the age, denomination, gender or nationality, everyone from the church praise team and choirs to the person on the street will be able to get their praise on, says Sharon.
