4 StarsFeaturing...
You may recognize the name KB as being a featured performer on almost every Reach and 116 Artists cd's, and may have wondered as I have done if this Normally "Featured" artist can do more than that with the release of his first album Weight & Glory. I believe for all fans of the label that has brought us Lecrae, Pro, and Trip Lee, that answer is absolutely. KB has a rich, clean sounding voice that is easy to follow along with as he raps. The mixing is outstanding providing plenty of range on your sound system without taking away the message he is trying to convey. KB is not afraid to talk about issues that effect both men and women as the world continues to draw them away from the creator. Sex, money, lust, greed are all topics that KB adresses in this album, convincing us that there is more than what the world has to offer through Jesus Christ. Some songs even come off a little judgemental at first, but it is very clear where KB's heart is as the song continues. Any fan of Lecrae, or any other 116/Reach artist will enjoy this cd, and while it may not be the right 1st cd for those that are new to the world of Christian Rap/HipHop, it does not dissapoint. Weight & Glory will leave the listner with an understanding that Jesus Christ died for your sins and He wants a relationship with you and there is much in store for your life for His Glory and not our own. -Sam Madewell, Mardel #33, Longview, TX.

5 StarsSpeechless!
This is definitely one of the dopest albums that Reach has released. Amazing first release for KB. I've been listening to this dude ever since he was in HGA, and i've been waiting for this album to drop for the past two years when he first joined Reach Records. KB put so much passion and heart into making this album, and it definitely shows when you listen to it. He worships as he raps. Totally recommend this album for anyone who listens to 116, and to anyone who is questioning Christian Hip/Hop's motives, values, and views.
