Adapted from one of the oldest and most beloved vocabulary programs available, Wordly Wise 3000 provides targeted, direct vocabulary instruction for Grades K-12. The words featured in this newly revised program were selected to expand critical grade-level vocabulary and improve reading comprehension.

In Wordly Wise 3000, Book 9, vocabulary instruction focuses on preparing students with strategies to unlock the meaning of words they will encounter in content area texts, literature, and high-stakes tests. Comprehension of the vocabulary words is facilitated and reinforced through Greek and Latin word studies with an emphasis on prefixes, suffixes, parts of speech, synonyms, analogies and other exercises that strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
