This curriculum was interesting for the student as well as the teacher. The teacher's book provided lots of extra information to make the content more interesting and relevant. Compared to other programs, the Bob Jones is a more complete program for the average student who doesn't intend to go into the field of biology or medicine. Strong academically. I have used two other curriculums for this coarse and I strongly prefer the Bob Jones Biology over the other programs.

My daughter enjoyed this Biology textbook and said it has now become her favorite subject. She feels that she has learned a lot from it. She compared her textbook to a local public school Biology textbook and felt that the public school's version was 'dumbed down' for the kids. She said she has learned a lot from this textbook and is not overwhelmed by the Review section.

It is a useful tool to teach Biology, but a bit expensive.
