A Good Tool
I was excited to be able to become a part of the blogger review team with Thomas Nelson Publishing. Well my first book arrived and being an old fuddy-duddy and read the book through. My first book was The Chronological Study Bible .
I absolutely loved this book but at the same time was bothered about some things also.
What I loved about this book was the breadth of information that was presented. The notes and reference materials contained in the book rival Reese’s Chronological Bible and F. Lagard Smith’s book. I liked the fact that they included archeological information along with general study notes. The next thing I loved about this book was the artistic way the book was put together.
The only concern I had with this book is that it was very visually overwhelming. The material in the book was outstanding but very overloaded in the way it was presented. If I had one thing that they could do differently it would be to create space in the way the material is presented.
I would highly recommend this book and believe it would be a good tool for anyone's Bible study library as a reference.
