In the Bible the term lily refers to a wide variety of flowers. Jesus even referenced lilies when he said, "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these" (Matthew 6:28-29).
Solomon even referred to his beloved as the Lily of the Valley. Considered a bright and beautiful flower blossoming in a dark valley, the lowest of places, the lily of the valley represents a beauty found in unforeseen places.
This Anointing Oil is made in the Holy Land of the Bible by local perfumers, using natural oils sourced from Galilee, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, and scented with flowers and herb essences mentioned in the Bible and characteristic of the Holy Land.
