Discipleship Journal Series: Following God in Tough Times: Bible Study on Suffering

Even when we feel imprisoned by life's difficult circumstances, God gives us freedom to choose how we'll respond. Both small groups and individuals will learn how to accept and gain perspective of tough times. Participants will move from survival to service through articles, questions, quotes, Scripture, and related exercises gleaned from top "Discipleship Journal" authors and editors. Over the last 18 years, "Discipleship Journal" has published a number of articles on the topic of suffering and this study is a compilation of the best of these. Through discussion questions and innovative learning activities, readers will interact with each of the authors.
