My children did excellent with this curriculum. The pages are visually boring but that didn't seem to matter. My children's grammar sky rocketed after using this curriculum.

This is a wonderful second grade program. I use it in conjunction with Plaid Phonics and A Reason for Handwriting. The 2nd Grade Easy Grammar program focuses on Capitalization, Punctuation, Basic Parts of Speech, and Sentence Combining. Each day's lesson takes no more than 5-10 minutes of my daughter's time, but she is learning so much! Just a little daily practice goes a long way! We also do copywork & handwriting and a separate phonics reinforcement lesson. I am also very pleased with the Easy Grammar programs designed for 4th and 6th graders. My sons have used A Beka for years, and it was a fine program. I have no complaints. However, it was drudgery for them most of the time. With Easy Grammar, they are accomplishing the same level of proficiency, but it is not as frustrating for them. They need more time (than my 2nd grader needs) to complete their Easy Grammar lessons, but their lessons (including instruction time) still do not require more than 15-25 minutes a day. (They complete the front and back of one page each day.)

This is a simple, effective grammar program. The format is easy to follow. The material is understandable, and the student learns grammar through this material. It is about the best grammar program I have used.
