In the late 1960s, Pastor Chuck Smith started a movement in Southern California to bring the hippie generation into the church with the help of street preacher and hippie, Greg Laurie. The movie takes us on a journey of young Greg Laurie searching for truth in all the wrong places until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love leading to what TIME Magazine called: Jesus Revolution.
