Not Just An Exhibit... An Experience.
Passages, a worldwide traveling exhibition, takes you on a walk through history behind the scenes of the most-banned, most-debated, most-translated, best-selling book of all time. The 14,000-square-foot, family-oriented, non-secretarian exhibition brings the dramatic story of the capturing, preservation, translation and new discoveries of the Bible to life in rich, interactive, once-in-a-lifetime experience for all ages.
This exhibit marks the debut of The Green Collection, one of the world's newest and largest private collections of rare and biblical texts and artifacts. It includes a portion of the Gutenberg Bible and the world's one complete Block Bible in private hands, early tracts and Bibles of Martin Luther, including a little-known letter written the night before Luther's excommunication; the second-largest private collection of Dead Sea Scrolls; the earliest-known, near-complete translation of the Psalms to (Middle) English; the Codex Climaci Rescriptus, one of the earliest surviving Bibles and more!
Alongside these rare treasures, the Bible's story is portrayed in breathtaking detail as you explore hand-crafted, true-to-life replicas of scenes in which significant events took place. Immerse yourself in bygone eras as costumed period players and lifelike animatronic figures bring poignant events to life with fresh immediacy.
Join Dr. Scott Carroll, director of the Green Collection, as he takes you on a tour of the Passages exhibit. As he highlights extraordinary pieces found throughout the rooms. Dr. Carroll paints a picture of the history of the Bible, and its struggle to survive through years of war and oppression.
Explore Passages, and experience the Bible's impact on history, culture and individual lives like never before.
