The abundant archeological evidence positions the Old Testament as both a religious guide and a reliable historical record.

The Old Testament's extra-biblical evidence keeps piling up. That is, the number of excavated archeological sites is staggering, and yet some scholars estimate that less than five percent of all such sites in the "Holy Land" have been unearthed.

Dr. Edwin Yamauchi, known for his research work in 26 different languages has helped to interpret some of these key finds, and has written extensively about the Bible's veracity. While some sensational finds lack substance, most archeological finds tell important parts of the story. Dr. Yamauchi provides an engaging and balanced look at dozens of the finds that attest to both Biblical persons and their stories. Some artifacts accent a particular story while others have direct connections to an actual Biblical account.
