The Patriarchs
This is a ten week Bible study for small groups. It can be purchased with the video/dvd collection (recommended). This was my first "Beth Moore" Bible study. At first, I was skeptical because of all the "hype" over a study aid. I thought, who is this Beth Moore everyone is crazy about? Now I'm in love with her Bible studies along with everyone else. These are not superficial studies. She does her homework before writing and helps people to understand the background and context of what is being studied. The reader is responsible for how much she will gain from it because there is a bit of "homework" for you to do as well. Even if you have to break down a week into a two week span, there is so much to learn and there are great applications and life lessons throughout the study. Give it a try! Genesis has never been more alive to me!
