As the star point guard of his high school basketball team, most popular guy on campus and boyfriend to the most beautiful girl in the school, Jake Taylor believes he has it all. Until Roger, Jake’s former best friend, decides he is tired of being bullied and ridiculed. With a gun in his hand and a wound in his soul, Roger makes a tragic decision that rocks Jake’s world.

As he begins to contemplate the superficiality of his own life, Jake realizes there are other students like Roger who need a friend. But reaching out to them will cost Jake his reputation, his relationships and everything he once held important. Is it really worth it?
