Do you remember stringing beads together to make a salvation bracelet before. You might even recall what all the colors represent. Now that concept is available in a stretch silicone bracelet, making for a handy evangelism tool for kids, tweens, and teens. The back of the bag is printed with a reminder of what the colors represent:
Black - sin. All have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God (Rom. 3:10, 23). Sin
separates man from God and leads to death
(James 1:15; Rom. 8:6, 7).
Red - blood of Jesus. God the Father because
His love sent His Son Jesus to save us from
the power of sin (John 3:16, 1 Peter 2:24).
God forgives sin through Jesus' blood by His
grace and through faith (Eph. 1:7; 2:7, 8).
Blue - baptism of repentance. Our sin
nature is buried with Christ and we are made
alive to God in the resurrection of a new
creation in Christ Jesus. (Acts 2:38, 39;
Rom. 6:3-11; 10:9-13; Titus 3:5-7).
White - purity or cleansing. As we walk in the
light of God's word and the Holy Spirit we are
continually cleansed by the blood, the Word
and the Spirit. (1 John 1:7-9; Rom. 8:12)
Green - Christian growth. We need to grow in
maturity (1 Peter 2:1, 2; Col. 1:28, 29). We
fight in God's power against temptation,
endure persecution, and add moral excellence
2 Peter 1:3-11). We develop in humility and
love (Phil. 2:5-16)
Gold - heaven. For the wages of sin is
death, but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:23). We shall
live in the city of gold (Rev. 21:18-21).
Hand these out as rewards in your Sunday school class or children's ministry. Encourage kids to wear these out in public. As they get questions about the bracelet, they can share the gospel message, one color at a time.
