When difficult times arise, we are able to find peace and strength through the touch of Jesus in our life. There is nothing that can separate us from Him, as long as we keep our faith during difficult times. These boxed encouragement cards feature Mardel's own design in photos of Jesus as he tends to the needs of others through compassion and love.
Inside- In ancient times, people with skin diseases were considered unclean and lived as outcasts. One such man came to Jesus and begged Him on his knees to be made clean. Jesus, filled with compassion, touched the man and healed him.
May you feel the compassionate touch of Jesus today.
Verse- Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. "I am willing," he said, "Be healed!" Instantly the leprosy disappeared, and the man was healed. –Mark 1:41-42, NLT
Inside- On the morning of Jesus' crucifixion, before the rooster crowed, Peter denied Him three times. Imagine Peter's joy when, after Jesus rose from the dead, He not only forgave Peter, but commissioned him as shepherd of His church with instructions to feed His sheep.
Find peace in the knowledge that nothing can separate you from God's love and His plan for your future.
Verse- A third time he asked him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you." Jesus said, "Then feed my sheep." –John 21:17, NLT
Inside- There was a woman who had suffered for 12 years with a seemingly incurable issue of blood. She believed that if she could simply touch the hem of Jesus' robe she would be healed. She was right.
Praying that your faith in God remains strong as you go through this tough time.
Verse- Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, "Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well." And the woman was healed at that moment –Matthew 9:22, NLT
Inside- After miraculously feeding 5,000 people, Jesus had His disciples cross the lake in a boat ahead of Him so He could be alone to pray. Late in the evening, the boat was buffeted by wind and waves. The disciples saw Jesus walking on the water toward them. Peter got out of the boat and walked atop the water himself-until he took his eyes off Jesus.
Praying that Jesus gives you strength to weather this storm. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will see you through.
Verse- But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" –Matthew 14:29-31, NIV
