St. Christopher Pocket Medal with Motorist's Prayer Card

Christopher, honored as a Saint in Catholic traditions, is known as the patron saint of travelers. According to the stories about Saint Christopher, when he sought to serve the greatest king in the land, his journey eventually led him to follow Christ. When he learned he could serve Christ by prayer and fasting, he refused, believing he was unable to fast. Instead, he served Him by leading others across a dangerous river. One day a small child came to cross the river, and the weight was almost too much to bear. He later believed that child was Jesus, coming to him in the form of a child.
