Homeschool Life Unit Studies
The Unit Study Teaching Style is fun, fascinating, and a flexible way to educate your children! Plus, all of your family can be learning about the same thing at the same time on each of their learning levels!
There are two different kinds: Comprehensive and Limited/Subject Unit Study. Both are theme-based with opportunities for a variety of learning experiences like reading picture books and first-hand documents, hands-on activities, field trips, and more.
It is taking time to really focus on a certain time period or piece of literature and allowing your children to connect those dots and understand how different parts of the world fit together. Or doing an in-depth study on one particular topic such as a book, horses, photography, a state, or country.
And many families get ideas and support through online forums, co-ops, plus homeschool conventions!
