Newsboys revamp their album Stand, adding 4 new songs to this deluxe edition. Hear King of Kings, featuring Bart Millard of MercyMe, All Things Are Possible, Jesus Did, and the acoustic version of I Still Believe You're Good. This deluxe edition takes the album to new heights. At the original release of Stand, Duncan Phillips, the Newsboys drummer, expressed to Everything Nash, that Stand would be part of a new musical direction for the band.
“Even though it sounds so new and exciting, there’s still an element to it that still sounds like who we are,” Phillips explains. “It’s a weird thing; we’re growing and evolving and maturing, and hopefully, our musical changes are, so your record should too, right? I mean, if you keep on making the same record over and over again, you’ve actually gone backwards, because everyone else, your fans and people, they’re moving forward. If you keep on making the same record, you’ve gone backwards in that sense.”
