Pastor John (Robert Amaya) and his wife Betsy (Erin Bethea) are desperate to see their church grow. In an effort to reach more people, they decide to change the Christmas pageant. The changes upset the elderly choir director Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn) so much that she leads the choir to boycott.
With his job on the line, Pastor John disguises himself as an old man in order to bridge the generation gap and win over Mary, so he can lead the church back to unity. He soon discovers the wounds run deeper than he knew. To resolve the issues threatening his church and his family, Pastor John must make every effort to love the unlovable.
