Frankincense (Boswellia) and Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) have a rich heritage in the Christian tradition. These resins are produced by trees that grow alongside the Red Sea, the very sea the Israelites crossed when they escaped from Egypt. Frankincense and Myrrh, along with gold, were gifts given to Jesus by the Magi.
Traditionally, Myrrh was used as part of the holy anointing (Exodus 30:22) and Frankincense was part of the holy incense (Exodus 30:24). Additionally, Frankincense was part of the tabernacle offering and two golden cups of it were placed on the table of showbread, one for each row of six (Leviticus 24:7).
Now you can use these valuable oils as part of your anointing ministry. This 1/4 ounce bottle allows you to use a small drop at a time as you pray over those in need.
