Wordly Wise 3000 Student Book 9, 4th Edition, Grade 9

In Wordly Wise 3000 4th Edition Student Book 9 vocabulary instruction focuses on preparing students with strategies to unlock the meaning of words they will encounter in content area texts, literature, and high-stakes tests including the ACT and SAT. Lessons begin with a dictionary style word list for students to study and then complete the exercises following the list. Student exercises include: open ended questions, fill in the blank, communicating understanding, learning synonyms and antonyms, using words in correct context, discussion/writing extension and more. 

Additionally, each student workbook (grades 2–12) includes 12-months access to pre-loaded Wordly Wise 3000 approved study sets via Quizlet. Quizlet technology allows students to practice learning words and definitions in an ad-free environment, test themselves on their knowledge, and play motivating games to reinforce long-term retention of words.
