Maggie is a single mom who visits the local pet shelter and adopts a Labrador Retriever for her son, Ethan. However things get more complicated when it is discovered that the dog belonged to Jack and his daughter, Olivia. As the families spend more time together, something starts to form between the single parents while sharing custody over a puppy that both had wanted for Christmas.
