David 4: The Mighty Men, by Kingstone Media, Comic Book
- Author: Art A. Ayris
- Illustrator: Danny Bulanadi
- Editor: Kelly Ayris
King David made a major mistake when he had an affair with the wife of one of his loyal soldiers, then set up to have that soldier killed in battle. One of the consequences to that sin was the civil war that erupted in the country. His own son Absalom led a movement against him. While David survived the revolt against him, his own son was killed in the process.
Later, as David compelled his army leaders to do a census of the fighting men, God punished the land with destruction, until God heard David's cry for mercy. During this time, David had a group of outstanding warriors around him called the Mighty Men. Turn through the pages of this comic to learn more about the Mighty Men and turbulent times of King David's reign.
The Kingstone Bible stands as the most complete graphic adaptation of the Bible ever done. The artwork is consistent with mainstream comic books. Fans of Marvel Comics and DC Comics will enjoy this presentation of familiar Bible stories. While the stories are designed to be faithful adaptations of Bible events, they are not word-for-word renderings.
