No matter what title you associate to the Messiah the most important thing you should know is that He forgives us for our sins. Jesus knows our hearts. If we come to Him asking for forgiveness for any sins we've committed in our life. According to Catholic faith, the reason His heart is illuminated is to show the fullness of God's boundless love for mankind. When we fall short daily we can go to Jesus in prayer and ask for forgiveness. He loves us and cares for us deeply.
